It was first summited in 1950 by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal. It was not until 1970 that Annapurna was summited again. In the autumn of 1999 there were 120 expedition to Annapurna. 106 climbers reached the summit. 54 climbers never came back.The region is also popular for cultural heritage site which is inhabited by different ethnic groups such as Gurung, Magar, Kami, Damai, Brahman and Kshetri in the mid-hill areas and Tibetan origin groups behind the Himalayas. Day 01: Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Free day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley such as Boudha Nath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar Square (B)
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara 7 hrs by bus or 30 min by flight (B)
Day 04: 1½ hrs drive to Nayapull and start trek to Tikhedhunga (1575m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 05: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2853m) 6 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 06: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2652m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1952m) 4 hrs (B.L.D)
Day 08: Ghandruk to Pokhara (950m) via Nayapull 5 hrs (B.L)
Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu 7 hrs by bus or 30 min flight (B)
Day 10: Final departs to your own country. (B)
