Sarangkot hiking is probably the only place on earth that lets you gaze upon a beautiful lake, view one of the best sunrises that slowly rises kissing a range of snow-capped peaks. Placed at an altitude of 1592m, a typical hiking to Sarangkot hill lets you enjoy the natural loveliness Pokhara valley has in store, All at once! Sarangkot sits north of Pokhara overlooking the valley and Fewa lake. It’s a short hike passing through the picturesque small villages and forests from the main touristic area of Pokhara or only a 45 minutes taxi ride from the same. On a clear day you can see an unimpeded view of the spectacular peaks of Annapurna & Dhaulagiri ranges and Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail).
If you are an adventure freak, then you might be overwhelmed with an hour long paragliding from Sarangkot hill, which offers the magnificent views of the mountains around and the beautiful Pokhara valley below. Walking through the traditional Sarangkot village is also a great activity to explore the local culture and lifestyle.
Day 01: Arrival transfer to hotel and Sightseeing of Swoyambhu Nath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 02: Sightseeing of Patan Durbar Square , Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. (B)
Day 03: To Pokhara (850m.) by tourist bus or 30 minutes flight / hotel (B)
Day 04: Drive to Lake Side and commence hike to Sarangkot (B, L, D)
Day 05: Hike to Dhampus (B, L, D)
Day 06: Hike and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight hotel. Rest of the time for shopping (B, L)
Day 07: Drive to Airport for return flight (B)
