Chitwan Jungle Safari in Nepal

Jungle Safari in Nepal located on the Terai region at the edge of the Indian plains, ‘Chitwan National Park’ vaunts diverse forests, wildlife and rich bio-diversity. The park covers the area of 932 square kilometers area consisting of a diversity of ecosystems – including the Churia hills, Ox-bow lakes, and the flood plains of Rapti, Reu and Narayani rivers. Hence, the area is now listed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites.

There’s a lot that you can do once you’re inside the park- from venturing into the wilderness on foot,  by elephant back or dug-out canoe to view One-horned Black Rhinoceros and Bengal Tigers, Sloth Bear, leopard, jungle cats, wild boar, otter, Langur, Rhesus and the Macaque Monkey. During the evening, you will also enjoy the ‘Tharu’ cultural dance performances performed by the local ethnic groups of ‘Tharu’.
