Trip Highlights

Chhukung ri peak is the beautiful snow peak located in Solukhumbu Region Nepal.Chhukung ri Peak is open for climbing under mountaineering association Nepal. Height of Chhukung ri peak is 5550 M. Mountaineering association Nepal declared the Mt. Chhukung ri peak in group “A” category climbing peak. Main attraction of Chhukung ri peak is panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Everest (8850), Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu, Baruntse and Ama Dablam, Cholaste, Thamserku, Kantega peak and Tawache peak etc. Chhukung ri peak is situated at Mahalangur Himalayan range in Everest region at Solukhumbu District, Nepal.

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Welcome with bunch of flower assistance at the Airport and meet with our staff (One of our company staff will be waiting you at the Airport with display your name "..............." and pick up by our private Japanese car and than 20 minutes drive to the Hotel. After few minutes rest in hotel, Visit in our office and have hot/cold drinks (Tea/Coffee) waiting to serve and have join together, One of our staff will brief you regarding the trip and introduction with your guide. O/N at hotel.

Day 02: 40 minutes flight to Lukla (2728m) with guide and meet porter then commence trek to Phakding (2640m) 2 and half hrs (B.L.D)

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)

Day 04: Acclimatization day in Namche (B.L.D)

Day 05: Namche to Tengbuche (3870m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)

Day 06: Tengbuche to Dingbuche (4410m) 5 hrs (B.L.D)

Day 07: Acclimatization day in Dingbuche (B.L.D)

Day 08: Dingboche to Chhukung Valley.(B.L.D)

Day 09: Trek from Chhukung Valley to Chhukung ri Base Camp.(B.L.D)

Day 10: Rest day at Chhukung ri Base Camp for acclimatization.(B.L.D)

Day 11: Summit Chhukung Ri peak and back to Chhukung Valley.(B.L.D)

Day 12: Trek from Chhukung Valley to Tengboche.(B.L.D)

Day 13: Tengboche trek to Namche Bazaar 5 hrs (B.L.D)

Day 14: Namche Bazaar to Lukla 7 hrs (B.L.D)

Day 15: Morning after breakfast 40 minutes fly back to Kathmandu. And check in hotel. (B)

Day 16: Full day guided sightseeing in Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square. Rest of the time for shopping (B)

Day 17: Final departure to the airport by our private vehicle. (B)

Cost Includes:

  • International/Domestic Airport pick up and drop off by our private vehicle
  • Kathmandu hotels on twin sharing room including breakfast
  • 3-meals per day prepared by our experienced cook.
  • Camping gear (two-person tents, foam mattress, kitchen tent, dining tent and toilet tent).
  • Supporting field staff including professional trekking guide, cook, kitchen boy, porters or pack animals as well as their necessary insurance, meals and allowances.
  • Domestic airfare (Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu) including airport tax.

Cost excludes:
  • Nepal entry visa fees
  • Kathmandu hotel Lunch and Dinner (L ,D)
  • Personal equipment sleeping bag, Down jacket, waterproof jacket, kit bag etc. (you can rent them in Kathmandu at a cost of US$ 1 per item for day)
  • Equipment allowance (Legally each expedition must provide an equipment allowance for all Sherpa guides and porters. This allowance is necessary for brand new equipment (sleeping bag, shoes, crampons, down jacket, raincoat etc.). Because this expedition is not a high altitude expedition we will negotiate with the guides and porters to obtain an acceptable agreement for this allowance. Nevertheless the contribution of each participant will be around US$ 170.00
  • Travel / medical insurance and emergency evacuation cost
  • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, alcoholic beverages, bottled drinks (including cold drinks and mineral water), tips etc.
