Ganesh Himal trek starts from Trisuli west of Kathmandu. Trisuli can be reached from Kathmandu overland. At Nuwakot the palace of late Prithvi Narayan Shah is situated, the first Shah king of the present ruling dynasty. Trisuli is a small town. The name Trisuli comes from the river Trisuli. Due to its fast flow Trisuli river is famous for rafting. Along the trail one can find different trees and green woods, passing through Tamang, Gurung & Bramins villages. From Borang beautiful sights of Ganesh Himal can be seen. The Borang villagers are different then other people because still some are doesn't speak Nepali language as well. They use them language. At the Base camp of Ganesh Himal there is a tin mine. While returning from this point, the point could be Singla pass to Borang, from Borang past Tamang villages to Kero or Yarsa. From Yarsa good views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Manasulu and Ganesh Himal can be seen. Then the route follows the Budi Gandaki River to Arughat Bazaar. From Arughat Bazaar there is pass going to Manasulu. The ending point of the trek would also be the historical palace of Gorkha Darbar. Then drive back to Kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitwan national park.
This is one of the legendry "Hidden Valleys" of the Himalayas, guarded by 3 tiered pagoda set on a rocky steep sided gorges to pine forest and alpine meadows leading to a huge glacier below the snow capped peaks. The trail ends at Syabrubensi and the following day we drive back to Kathmandu.
There are interesting panoramic views destination points are called Singala pass, Dharka, Jasail Kunda, Jyamrung, Kasigaun,Khanchok and Gorkha offer you more than 35 mountains over 6000meters(19'680ft) above sea level.
