Mt. Gyachung Kang Expedition (7952m)

Gyachung KangGyachung Kang is a high mountain of the Khumbu region. It is the highest peak between Mount Everest and Cho Oyu. Its twin snow and rock peaks tower above the immediate surroundings, separated by a narrow saddle. The approach is easy by Gokyo Lake, then by crossing from the Ngozumpa glacier.

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, (2800m) and trek to Phakding, (2640m) Overnight in lodge. (B.L.D)
Day 05:
Trek to Namche Bazaar, (3446m) Overnight in lodge. (B.L.D)
Day 06:
Trek to Khumjung, (3790m) Overnight. (B.L.D)
Day 07:
Khumjung. Acclimatization day and changing of porters and yaks. (B.L.D)
Day 08:
Trek to Dole, 4200m. Overnight in lodge. (B.L.D)
Day 09:
Trek to Macchermo, 4410m. Overnight in lodge. (B.L.D)
Day 10:
Trek to Gokyo Lake, 4750m. Overnight in lodge. (B.L.D)
Day 11:
Gokyo. Acclimatization day. (B.L.D)
Day 12:
Trek to Ngozumba Tso, (4998m) (B.L.D)

  • Personal travel, medical and rescue insurance
  • Related charges for communication equipment (satellite phone, walkie-talkie).
