Lower Dolpa trek crosses three relatively high passes, good paths are followed throughout and there is no trekking on glaciers. At the edge of the Tibetan Plateau in the Himalayan rain shadow lies Dolpo the legendary hidden land closed for years to trekkers. The lack of other tourists, the warm welcome given by the hardy Dolpo-Pa & the fascinating insight into the Tibetan way of life makes this an extremely varied & special trek.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport and pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer to the Hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu free day for preparation of trekking (B)
Day 03: From Kathmandu fly to Nepalgunj (260m) (B.L.D)
Day 04: 25min Fly Nepalgunj to Juphal (2,350m) and trek to Dunai (2,150m) (B.L.D)
Day 05: Dunai – Tarakot (2,900m) (B.L.D)
Day 06: Tarakot – Chanki (2,900m) (B.L.D)
Day 07: Chanki – Tarap Khola (3,200m) (B.L.D)
Day 08: Tarap Khola – Rest / Acclimatise and Explore (B.L.D)
Day 09: Tarap Khola – Dho Tarap (4,040m) (B.L.D)
Day 10: Dho Tarap – Numa Phedi(4,500) (B.L.D)
Day 11: Numa Phedi – Numa Pass (5,190m) - Baga Phedi (4,200m) (B.L.D)
Day 12: Baga Phedi – Baga Pass (5,070m) - Phoskundo Lake (3,600m) (B.L.D)
Day 13: Phoskundo Rest and Explore (B.L.D)
Day 14: Phoskundo Lake – Roha Gaun (2,944m) (B.L.D)
Day 15: Roha Gaun – Dunai (2,150m) (B.L.D)
Day 16: Dunai – Juphal (2,350m) (B.L.D)
Day 17: Fly Juphal – Nepalgunj (25min) (B.L.D)
Day 18: Fly Nepalgunj – Kathmandu (B)
Day 19: Kathmandu – Rest and relax. (B)
Day 20: Final Departure to airport for ownward your destination. (B)
