First time paraglading ?
No worries, experience is not required! Tandem flying is when a certified pilot flies with a passenger. Both pilot and passenger sit in harnesses that are attached to each other and the wing. A paragliding harness is designed for safety and comfort, and is like sitting in a comfy chair. After an easy take-off, the passenger sits back and relaxes...enjoying the epic scenery and breathing the mountain air.

 

If you are paragliding over the sky in and around Pokhara, you get an even better view – the turquoise lakes of Pokhara, the mountains and the forests in the Annapurna area.
For more experienced para gliders wanting some extra fun, we can arrange for para gliding over other parts of Nepal within the areas permitted by Nepal government.
Bring with you strong shoes, and a windproof jacket. A calm scenic float, or an acrobatic tumbling routine, your choice...just tell the pilot your preference.

 

Conditions
Pokhara's landscape and climate make it a ever-luring destination for paragliding holidays. The tree line in Nepal is at an incredible 3900metre. There are no valley winds. Conditions are constant to great extent after the departure of monsoon. Most popular months among the paraglide fraternity are November, December and January. However, the adventure activity begins from early days of October and continues until May.
The starting point for the flight is Sarangkot (1592m), which offers great views of Fewa Lake, where the sunrise and sunset rays land in. If you wan to have paragliding, you do not need to have experience, as the qualified pilots will provide you full briefing before you launch. Paragliding Program:

 

Day 01: Drive or fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel
Day 02: Trek to Sarangkot (1590m). Overnight at Hotel
Day 03: Paragliding from Sarangkot and landed near by Fewa Lake. Overnight at Hotel
Day 04: Full day sightseeing in Pokhara Valley (Boating in Fewa lake, Hike up to World peace stupa, David's fall, Shiva cave, International mountaineering museum, Seti Gorge). Overnight at Hotel
Day 05: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel
Day 06: Transfer to International Airport for your onward destination.

 

Tandem Flights: Tandem flying involves flying with a passanger: both have separate harnesses that are attached to each other and the wing. Paragliding harnesses are very comfortable and safe which feel like an armchair allowing the passangers to sit back, relax, enjoy the scenery and even take picture.
