The Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park is in the northern and north western part of Kathmandu. The Shivapuri Hill is the one of the most important watershed area of the Kathmandu valley and provides most of the valley’s water needs. The village of Nagarkot is on the edge of the valley and offers superb views of the mountains as well as Kathmandu valley.
