Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival -Darjeeling: Pick up from Bhadrapur airport/Bagdogra / NJP Station. Meet the guide at the airport. Meet the guide at the airport and drive to Darjeeling. (140 km / 04 hrs.). Overnight hotel.

Day 02: Darjeeling: Early morning tour of Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. Afternoon visit to Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Gumbu Rock site and Tibetan Refugee self-help (Closed on Sunday) Center. Overnight hotel.

Day 03: Darjeeling-Gangtok: After B/Fast Transfer from Darjeeling to Gangtok on the way (Optional White River Rafting at Testa River) ( 115km, 04 hrs). Overnighthotel.

Days 04: Gangtok: Early morning sightseeing of Rumtek Monastery-the principal seat of Karma pa out of Tibet and the largest one in Sikkim, and go to Kanchejunga View Point, Drul-Chorten ,Sikkim Research Institute of Tibet logy, handicraft centers and check in hotel at Gangtok.. Evening Free to explore Gangtok.

Day 05: Gangtok-Lachung: Departure from Gangtok in the morning for Lachung-North Sikkim. Lunch will be served on the way. Places of interest on the way are Tashi View Point, the historic Kabi Lungtsok, Phodong Monastery. Arrive Lachung. (Drive 123 kms/6 hrs). O/N at Lachung.

Day 06: Lachung-Gangtok: After breakfast drive to Yumthang Valley –the valley of flowers (1200ft.) through yak-graded meadows, carpeted with Primulas, lined by Rhododendrons and waterfalls. Visit the Hot spring. Back to Lachung. After lunch visit Lachung monastery, cottge industry of walk to explore Lachung Village. After lunch drive to Gangtok. Arrive Gangtok. Check in hotel.

Day 07: Gangtok - Departure: Early morning, drive to your destination either Bhadrapur Airport Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Station Trips ends!
