Nepal is blessed with scintillating landscapes and mountains, making it a popular destination for trekkers.The unique and diverse cultures of this country attract a large number of people every year. There are several trekking routes that you can choose from. If you want to go for strenuous treks, you can opt for Everest Base Camp Trek and Annapurna Circuit Trek. If you want to take it easy, you can go for Ghorepani and Poon Hill Trek. You will be walking for days, witnessing the beauty of this region and experience the delightful hospitality of the people. In order to fully enjoy your trek, you should pack smart for your trek. As you will be heading to a remote region, you will not be able to find items that you require. So, packing all the necessary items would be a smart decision. When packing is done right, you will save money. You will not face any difficulties during your trek. Hiking Backpack

Hiking backpack is the most important item for your trek. It is highly recommended that you bring a strong backpack. You should also consider purchasing a waterproof bag. These backpacks are built for trekking as you will be carrying heavy weight. It will reduce the burden on your back. So, don't forget to get a proper hiking backpack for your trek.

Daypack

It would be a smart decision to take a daypack for your trek. If you want to explore a particular place but do not want to carry your bag, daypack would be an ideal choice. Hiking Socks

It is necessary that you take your hiking socks for your trek. You will be walking about 7 hours every day and using normal socks would simply just not cut it. Comfortable Clothes

Cap/Hat, Gloves and Scarf

You should take your cap/hat for your trek to protect yourself from the sun. Also, take a woolen cap to avoid cold. Also, take gloves and scarf to keep yourself warm as it will get really cold.

Toiletries

Carry toiletries for your trek. As many items won’t be available during your trek. Also, carry wet wipes with yourself. It will get really cold when you go places at higher altitude. It may not be possible to take showers. So, wet wipes will come in handy.

Water Purifier

Most of the trekking routes in Nepal have proper drinking water facilities. The teahouses that you will stay in will also provide clean drinking water. But it will be no harm if you take water purifiers with you. They are small in size so they won’t occupy much space. It is better to be safe than sorry right?

Quick Dry Towel

Quick-dry towel is another item that will make your trek a comfortable one. These towels dry really quick after you use them. You will not have to carry a wet towel which we all know isn't a good idea.

Torch

Torch is another item that you should pack. You might experience power cuts during your stay. Take a torch with you as you experience unexpected power cuts. These torches will also come in handy when you want to experience the sunrise or for going to the toilet late at night.
