Telpani trek is the perfect trekking destination to sight the view with greenery, chances are to face the sloth bear, beautiful birds, from the top of the Telpani, see the whole Bardia, Banke and Surkhet district with your own eyes. Feel the real life the villages.

After spending your time in Bardia National Park and exploring the lower lands…. One can also experience the Churia hill (Pahad)….. Total time of the trek is 3nights/4days….starting at the mouth of national park, the nature trails takes you from 250 m. up to 1500 m. The first day and not only the total landscape of the national park to the left but also at the same time the Surkhet valley on the right. On clear days it is very possible to see the awesome Himalayas in the back group. And see the village life that is not mentioned in guide books. Stays with local families who work the land provide Nepal’s real face to you as you continue on the ridge top.

Telpani Trekking Itinerary 

Day 01: 40 minutes flight to Nepalgunj or By bus from Thakurdwara to Ambassa then continuing by foot to Telpani (Approx 7 hours). (B, L, D)
Day 02: Telpani to Sukarmala ridge top (Approx 4 hours). (B, L, D)
Day 03: Sukarmals to Gainekanda (Approx 5 hours). And to Chisapani (Approx 2 hours). Then by bus from Chisapani to Thakurdwara. (B, L, D)
Day 04: Thakurdwara to Kathmandu (B)
