Hiunchuli peak climbing is placed in the famous Annapurna region, connecting to the Annapurna South itself. Ascending Hiunchuli is regarded as the most difficult and challenging climbing of the Himalayas. However, it is technically easy to ascend so it’s best suited for fresh climbers looking to experience the thrill of the Himalayan peak.
The peak was first climbed by the American Peace Corps Expedition, via the southeast face in October 1971. It forms a massive south-facing wall together with Annapurna South. Its eastern face overlooks the Modi Khola and guards the entrance to the Annapurna Sanctuary. The

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.

Day 04: Drive to Birethanti by private car /van and commence trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m.) (B,L,D)
Day 05: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2853m) (B,L,D)
Day 06: Hiking up to Poon hill (3210m) for the best sunrise and Mountain View and back to Ghorepani and have breakfast than continue trek to Tadapani (2652m) (B,L,D)
Day 07: Tadapani to Chhomrong (2050m) (B,L,D)
Day 08: Chomrong to Dovan (2550m) (B,L,D)
Day 09: Dovan to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m) (B,L,D)

Hiunchuli Peak offered the perfect level of challenge for us. It tested our limits but was achievable, and reaching the summit felt amazing
