Jamacho Hiking from Kathmandu it is one of the famous Buddhist stupa on the Nagarjuna Hill which is about 7km. from Kathmandu on western skyline. Jamacho Gumba day hike a motorable road leads through Raniban (Queen forest) to this stupa. It takes about 45 minutes to reach there in motor/jeep while hike is about 5 km on foot and takes about 2 hours. 

Jamacho day hike route it is quite steep and one has to climb about Jamacho height (754 m). in altitude as the stupa is situated on the top of the Nagarjuna hill at 2128m. altitude. Nagarjuna hill is also described in literature as Vindya mountain.

Jamacho Hiking itinerary
Day 01: Half an hour drive to hiking starting point and 1 hour hike to Nagarjun Hill (Jamacho) explore the area and back to hotel. (B)
