The Mundum trekking trail is situated in the far east of Nepal past Haleshi Mahadev, with a initial point in Diktel (1650m) district of Khotang village. The trail then heads south into a valley towards Tamkel Danda.

The trek continues north east along rugged Himalayan ridges to Salpa Pokhari (3348m) where you'll stay in tea houses experiencing the Rai culture like few other trekkers and indeed go camping (Organize). Back along more epic views of the Himalayas the Mundum trekking trail leads south to Hans Pokhari (2962m) and on to Bhojpur (1600m).
It's a low altitude trek with a maximum of (3426m) at Rawadhap. Known as a ridge trail Mundum trekking offers incredible views of over 30 mountain peaks of Makalu, Kumbhakarna and Kanchenjunga and many more.
Mundum Trekking Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Welcome with bunch of flower assistance at the Airport
Day 02: Kathmandu to Diktel 265 km (bus/trek) (10-12 hours avg) 1,650m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 03: Diktel to Chakhewa (2300m) (side trek to Temke 3000m) 48 km (6+ hours avg) 3,000m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 04: Chakhewa to Dhotre (5+ hours avg) 2,752m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 05: Dhotre to Maiyung (camping) (6 hours avg) 3,122m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 06: Maiyung to Rawadhap (camping) (6 hours avg) 3,426m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 07: Rawadhap 3,426m - Salpa Bhanjyang 3,348m (7 hours avg) 3,426m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 08: Salpa Bhanjyang 3348m - climb Silichung - Salpa Bhanjyang (4 hours avg) 4,153m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 09: Salpa Bhanjyang 3348m - Hyakule 2972m (camping) (6 hours avg) 3,348m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 10: Hyakule 2972m - Hanspokhari 2962m (camping) (6 hours avg) 2,972m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 11: Hanspokhari 2962m - Bhojpur 1600m (6 hours avg) 2,962m. Overnight in tent camp (B, L, D)
Day 12: Bhojpur - Taksar (optional) 12 Bhojpur - KTM (Bus, or flight) and rest of the time have relax and shopping. (B)
Day 13: Onward departure to the Airport by our private car. 3 hrs before you have to be airport (B)
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. Welcome with bunch of flower assistance at the Airport and meet with our staff (One of our company staff will be waiting you at the Airport with display your name "Mr. Pankaj Kothiyal" which is print on our company white board and pick up by our private car and than 20 minutes drive to the Hotel. After few minutes rest in hotel, One of our company staff will brief you regarding the trip. O/N at hotel.
