Nepal Village Tour is emerging as a very new and special concept in Nepalese tourism. Nepal is usually known for adventure travel, white water rafting, great jungle safari, staying at the specially built resorts or camping. A brand new concept of village tourism where the guests are taken to unspoiled villages where you spend a few days living with the local people and being treated as honored family guests. While staying in the villages, you enjoy often rustic, but comfortable accommodation, delicious local food and drink and a welcome that will remain a happy memory for a lifetime. Local attractions, both scenic and cultural are shown.
Many of these villages are set in unspoiled natural areas where wildlife may be seen undisturbed. The traditional culture of the different ethnic groups is a highlight of all village visits. These warm and friendly people are always ready to perform their music and dance and to give an insight into their religion. Local people treats guest as god. Examples of local handicrafts will often be on display and for sale to guests.
Nepal Village Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Welcome with bunch of flower assistance at the Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel. Rest at the hotel some time and after that our staff will brief you regarding about the trip.
Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing in Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square.
Day 03: 1 hr drive to Nuwakot Chapa boat and commence village tour to Geragaun exploring the area and talk with local people, and overnight stay home with local family.
Day 04: Nuwakot village (Geragaun) to Budhisera and overnight stay home with local family.
Day 05: 2 and half hours drive back to Kathmandu and check in hotel, And rest of the time for shopping.
Day 06: Drive to Airport for return flight.

Nepal village tour

My sister and I are in our 60s & did our own planning of a 3 week holiday. We knew where we wanted to go and the sort of things we wanted to experience. We were also open to new experiences, within reason. Skyline's manager Madhav was very flexible, friendly and accommodating.
He helped us map out a plan for our time in Nepal, which included some excitement, some new experiences and some relaxation. He looked after us very well, made our time in Nepal just wonderful and introduced us to some very special friends. Thank you so much.
