Paragliding in Nepal is one of the best ways to explore high snow-capped peaks, green hills, picturesque villages, exotic forests and beautiful turquoise lakes. Even though the flight only lasts 30-45 minutes, it creates a wonderful and fulfilling experience to last a lifetime.

Our Nepal paragliding flight is undertaken in beautiful 'Pokhara valley', from Sarangkot hill. The natural beauty of Pokhara is simply awe-inspiring with beautiful lakes; hill-sides looked upon by the spectacular Annapurna ranges with the magnificent fish-tailed Machhapuchhre on the backdrop. A fascinating city set in a tranquil valley; Pokhara is the starting point of Nepal's most popular trekking destinations.

Hence, this short paragliding flight gives you the opportunity to fly over this picturesque valley while enjoying the great views of landscapes and mountains including Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail), Annapurna ranges, Fewa Lake and other mountains at sunrise and sunsets. Even though hang gliding in Nepal is possible throughout the year, we suggest you to plan for paragliding mainly during November, December and January as the weather remain beautifully clear during these months.

We also arrange for Tandem flights which includes flying with a passenger: both have separate harnesses that are attached to each other and the wing. Paragliding harnesses are very comfortable and safe which feel like an armchair allowing the passengers to sit back, relax, enjoy the scenery and even take picture.

Itinerary

Day 01: 40 minutes drive from Pokhara hotel to Sarangkot and start paragliding than end at Pame than drive back to Pokhara.

THINGS TO REMEMBER FOR MAXIMUM ENJOYMENT AND SAFETY:

Remember to wear a pair of good ankle support shoes (this is for take-off and landing).
Wear warm clothes, as in a pair of jumper/jacket and long trousers.
Bring your own camera if you want to, otherwise our pilots can always take onflights pictures of you and burn it on cd for only Rs 1,700.
If you suffer from any kind of travel sickness then to take anti-sickness pills or not to eat anything heavy before the flight.
