Table of Contents

In the mountains, heaps of crucial things are unsure and resources in short supply. Casting and contesting in such background draws out the highest amount of distinctive knowledge and makeoverThe Himalayan Mountain Challenge Program targets on budding real life running skills in a real atmosphere.  It is an experienced and healthy suggested program that can be included in the Personal growth plan course or as an extra curriculum.

The purpose of (HMCP)

The Himalayan Mountain Challenge plans to convey real life running skills from the outdoors. This program is a new process which unifies practical guidance practice with trekking in the mountains of Nepal. Students’ passionate teamwork can venture the method of functioning through real challenges with inadequate resources. To triumph over obstacles and challenges in a real life environment this program purpose is to embower the students. Under stressful situations students’ team work, cooperation, consultation, inspiration and managerial behaviors laid out on focus bringing out qualities.

Systematization

Students are separated into groups and given inadequate resources to carry out the challenge at hand. Throughout the challenge Mountain money is used as a resource. The groups try to win against each other in a real life setting through a sequence of tricks and games that focus on team work, cooperation and in general individual competence building. To all the groups along with equal amount of Mountain money the details of the Mountain challenge will be given. Groups should strategies and carry out the activities in such a way that they make best use of their money. As a rule, groups accompanying an activist approach and skills in cooperation, inspiration, time management and an efficient contact appear as victors of this Mountain challenge program.

Practice

The Skyline treks one of the most preferred trekking organization in Nepal. We have more than 500 trekkers every year. We know the thoughtful changes that people experience when they trek. These changes, that influence trekkers’ stance and outlook, have been the stirring strength that has guided our hard work into making the Himalayan Mountain Challenge Program. Over the last 2 years this program has developed. This is the 3rd year that we are running Himalayan Mountain Challenge Program for NIM (Nepal Institute of Management). Closing year NIM students survey this program incredibly highly and have been involved and made small adjustments in it.

We have perceived the program usually leaves a long-term upshot on the student’s mind. Evidence would be the number of them who relate to be volunteers in conducting the same program in the following years. More notably, students be trained that joint effort in such surroundings need a high arrange of supportive skills. Students also find out those most special limits that they have basically anticipated. It is an overwhelming experience for some students.  For all, however, it is a grand improve in self-confidence. Most of these trainings have direct inferences in real life. Unlike a classroom setting the study on this program is full of meaning often eternal.

How the program is accomplished

The trek takes students to an elevation of 4,000 meters, generally to a height. The background of the trek is in some of our most picturesque mountains of the Himalayas. Climbing the summit over five days along with the farm duties in hand is where the conversion happens. It does not involve previous trekking involvement to join in this program, even if we push for physical preparation.

This program also consists of 38 KM water rafting down the Trishuli River, which once more highlights the learn on the trek. The program stretch is 10 days.

 Places for the program:

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

Annapurna Base Camp

Chepang Hill

Ghalegaon

Langtang Valley

For all four locations contestants come to Kathmandu International Airport. They are picked up from Kathmandu and driven down to the respective places of the treks.  For a team of 30 students there are 4-8 back end management staff, 2 staff in guidance responsibility performing the Mountain Challenge and 2 skyline treks volunteers who help to carry out the program.
