The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is located in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The base camp itself is situated at the foot of the majestic Annapurna Massif, which is one of the most iconic mountain ranges in the world. To reach Annapurna Base Camp, trekkers typically start their journey from the town of Nayapul, which is about a 1.5 to 2-hours drive from Pokhara a popular tourist destination in Nepal. From Nayapul, the trek follows a well-established trail that passes through various villages and landscapes, including lush forests, terraced fields, and picturesque mountain vistas.
The trek usually takes around 7 to 12 days from Pokhara to Annapurna Base Camp and return, depending on the chosen itinerary and trekking pace. Some common stops along the way include Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Chhomrong, and Machhapuchhre Base Camp (also known as MBC) before finally reaching Annapurna Base Camp (also known as ABC) or shortly Nayapul to Jhinudanda to Dovan to ABC and back to Dovan to Jhinudanda to Pokhara.

I was just in two mind, which trek was relevant for me in Nepal and after getting on with Skyline treks and expedition they clarifies all my uncertainties and helped to choose Annapurna base camp trek with Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking and that was a great opening for me to do twice with one.

I knew that, trekking is all about walking through the uneven trails, climbing high passes and viewing the world highest silvery mountains within a week long exhausting journey but I had never withstand with it. And March 2018 was my luckiest year and joined with Skyline treks and expedition for Annapurna base camp trek to encounter with the entire dame Nature, run and arranged everything perfectly by Mr. Madhav Pandey, title holder of the trekking company.
As we started and ended the 10 days trek….. All we experienced was pure and utter bliss! A big thumps up to our trek guide Sanjay C who is so knowledgeable, cooperative and passionate about what he did. If he was not with us this ABC trip would not have been same. We highly recommend Skyline treks for those who are planning to do Himalayan trek in Nepal.
