Helambu trek from kathmandu to Langtang is the most tranquil trekking experience compared to the other regions of Annapurna or Everest. Offering a great close up views of spectacular mountain peaks and a great understanding of the local culture; this trek to langtang gosainkunda helambu trekking guarantees an adventurous experience to last a lifetime.
The 10 days long langtang helambu treks takes you across two geographically varied valleys gazed upon by sky-high peaks and villages that are calm & amusing in every way. And if you have an interest in Hinduism or spiritual, you get to explore the famous ‘Gosainkunda lake’, which according to Hindu Mythology is the abode of ‘Lord Shiva’.
Starting this trek from Trishuli River, north of Kathmandu, we travel through Dhunche to Syabru Bensi, a Sherpa village placed at the edge of “The Langtang National Park”. Passing along the dense oak & rhododendron forests and even the glacial moraine at places, we make it to the popular Tamang village of Langtang. This narrow Langtang valley Trekking is nestled between the Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of peaks to the south. You can encounter a spectacular 360 degree panorama of snow-capped peaks inclucing Langtang Lirung, Premthang Ri, Langshisha Ri ,Dorje Lakpa and Ganchempo, Tilman’s fluted peak.
This trekking isn’t particularly difficult; also it has many interesting possibilities of hiking from our base camps. Movingdown from Upper Langtang Valley, we move through the Laurebina pass to the high ridges of Helambu. On the backdrop of ‘Helambu valley’, is an outstanding views of ‘Annapurna and Manaslu’ in the west and ‘Mt. Everest’ in the east.
Arrival at Tribhuban International Airport and pick up you by our private vehicle and transfer to the Hotel
1 hrs drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1500m) a typical roadhead. and commence trek to Chisopani (2194m / 7200ft). 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Chisapani to Gul Bhanjyang (2125m / 6,972ft). 5 hrs (B.L.D)
Gul Bhanjyang to Mangan Kharka (3285m / 10,775ft). 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Mangan Kharka to Tharepati (3900m / 12,800ft). 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Tharepati Tarkeghyang (3900m / 12,800ft). 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Tarkeghyang to Sermanthang. (3900m / 12,800ft). 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
Sermanthang to Melamchi (3900m / 12,800ft). 5 ½ hrs (B.L.D)
3 hrs drive from Melamchi to Kathmandu. And transfer to the hotel. Rest of the time for shopping (B)

Helambu trek is a easy trek and is not so difficult.
Helambu trek is at an elevation of 3900 meters.
The Helambu Trek costs US$750 only, per person.
One must be vaccinated against COVID-19 for travelling to Nepal and you might also follow your doctor’s advice on the vaccinations to be taken.
Our itinerary is designed for easy travel to every trekker. Hence, it can be done by beginners as well.

The Helambu trek can be done throughout the year however, autumn and spring seasons are the best for this trek.
You can get from Kathmandu to Sundarijal or Melamchi to Kathmamandu 1-3 hrs drive by bus, car, Hiace, jeep or Land cruiser.
You can have 3 meals (B, L and D) per day on your trek. However, you will have to pay for extra snacks, drinks and also bottled water.
You will stay in a hotel in Kathmandu. While on trekking we provide you daily accommodation at local tea houses in various stations.
You have to pay an additional charge to get hot water from the teahouses you are staying in.
Generally, a group size of 1 to 15 people is considered.
Yes, there is a single guide and a porter for every two trekkers.
You can recharge your gadgets at the tea houses for which you will have to pay a general amount of US $1-2.
There is no ATM service on the Helambu trekking trail, so you must carry enough money from Kathmandu before starting your journey.
Yes, of course. Internet and mobile connectivity are available at most places on the trek.
Yes, you must have travel insurance to do any treks in Nepal.
