Manaslu Trek Route Overview: The trek follows a circuitous route around the Manaslu massif, which typically takes around 14-18 days to complete.
Here's a general Manaslu trek 10 days outline of the route:
Kathmandu to Soti Khola to Maccha Khola: You start by following the Budhi Gandaki River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through terraced fields and forests.
Maccha Khola to Jagat: The trail continues along the river, passing through small villages and enjoying beautiful views of waterfalls and the surrounding landscapes.
Jagat to Deng: You enter the restricted area of Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP) and trek through steep and rocky sections.
Deng to Namrung: The trail takes you through forests and villages, with glimpses of Himalayan peaks along the way.
Namrung to Samagaon: This section offers stunning views of Mount Manaslu and passes through picturesque villages.
Samagaon to Samdo: The trail continues uphill, leading to the village of Samdo, which is close to the Tibetan border.
Samdo to Dharmashala (Larkya Phedi): You trek through barren landscapes and ascend to Dharmashala, also known as Larkya Phedi, where you will spend the night before crossing the Larkya Pass.
Dharmashala to Bhimthang via Larkya Pass: This is the most challenging part of the trek as you cross the Larkya Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The trail then descends to Bhimthang.
Bhimthang to Dharapani: You trek through forests and gradually descend, passing through quaint villages.

After breakfast we will leave early today from Kathmandu, this long journey by vehicle takes 7-9 hours to reach Machhakhola via Sotikhola. During the ride, we will enamor viewing the landscapes together with mountain scenery of Nepal. The first four hours drive up to Dhading Bensi, (The district HQ of Dhading) (1050), will be on paved route and then the afterward meet from Dhading to Arughat will be on rugged route. At the beginning, we will cross over the bridge; walk through the canopy forests and so, ascend toward the ridgeline over large rapids on the Budhi Gandaki River. We then ascend more back a rock outcrop, where the valley paves the way and Budhi Gandaki winds between rocks fences. Descending to the sandy river bottom, we trek on O-shaped rocks before soaring over a side range. Again we continue down to the river and pass over second suspension bridge to gain Machha Khola. Today we will begin our trek through the tight route wherein we climb and down some baby steps and cross the Tharo Khola before reaching Khorlabesi, from here again some more ups and downs and pass by a small natural Hot spring at Tatopani. Later, we climb over another ridged, again get across the Budhi Gandaki river over the suspension bridge. Under the circumstances, we will ascend on an open, fine work out stairway, subsequently we will cross landslide and over a ridgeline to Dobhan. After here via the suspension bridge we will pass over Yaru Khola, we will ascend stone staircase and then descend to the river and then climb some more stairs to Tharo Bharyang, clinging through the west bank of Budhi Gandaki, we climb over the ridgepole, walk alongside of the river and after 30 minutes of ascend will lead us to Jagat village. Overnight in the guest house meals: Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast involved.
After breakfast we will climb over a rough ridge towards Salleri and after fall to Sirdibas. As the trail goes forward until Ghatta Khola the Sirdibas valley extends a bit. Further we cling walking upriver to a rangy suspension bridge in Philim, a wide village of Gurung settlement. From here the path head north and continue on a pretty balanced trail as it crosses the imposing waterfalls on each side and next we will cross millet fields to Ekle Bhatti. From here we run towards the river and cross the suspension bridges for two times. Afterward, we will go by Euwa, cross along a minor trailer park and go along through the valley unto we reach the village of Deng. Overnight in the guest house meals: Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast involved.
After a short walk ahead Deng, cross the Budhi Gandaki and ascend to Rana. Separating the bridge a bit we ascend to touch a trail from Bhi, next we nonstop toward west at the top of Budhi Gandaki valley. The trail as well goes through forest and Mani stones, a mark that we will enter Tibetan precinct, where we wind towards a corner that figures out to Ghap. However, there is one more trail; we will direct make our way towards Prok village. The village is important to glimpse the Siringi Himal. We continue trailing; today many times we get over the Budhi Gandaki and discover many Gompas on the way. Through the dense forest the trail go along with the river, once crossing the river an exciting scene appears where it rumbling down a narrow gully, afterward the trail is level again. Namrung village offers the magnificent views of Siring and Ganesh Himal and as well the view of Himal Chuli in the south is more stellar. Slowly we will climb and leave through the forest and run into Lihi village, village ornamented by many Chortens and barley terraces. The trail descends and cross the flanking valley of Simnang and Ganesh alongside. Further we depart through sho, Lho and Shyala villages before making Sama village. The vivacious views of Mt, manasly is bizarre from Lho village and also the popular Ribung Gompa is to explore. At Shyala village we will enclosed by several snowy mountains serving as, Himal Chuli and Peak 29 (named Ngadi Chuli). Samagaon is the landing point of today’s trip we stay overnight in the guest house meals: Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast involved.
The two major goals, rest and acclimatization, we engage in Samagaon for the day. We spend the day at Samagaon both for rest and acclimatization. Today, we get familiar with the great Sherpa culture. We have the galore display of Mani stones including Buddhist manuscripts and images and the traditional clothes and ornaments dressed by Sherpa women. We walk brief over the small hill nearby Samba village to explore the aged old Pungyen Gompa which offers a great view of Manaslu glacier. The left side trail head to the Manaslu Base Camp, as the valley stretch to open up the Larkya La trail put on many Mani walls. However the trail is rugged but it’s easy to walk, atop the river fleeting the juniper and birch forests of Kermo Kharka. We fall off, cross the wooden bridge over the Budhi Gandaki and ascend climb sharply among a headland between two splits of the river. We will enjoy the view of large white kani from a curve structure stone. Eventually rushing through the Kani we come across Samdo. Overnight in the guest house meals: Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast involved. Finally passing through the kani we find Samdo.
Still today, we maintain our walk down the stream, pass over the wooden bridge over Budi Gandaki River and cling on walking higher. Further we cross twin streams and viewing the Larkya Glacier we turn to the valley of the Salka Khola and yet again ascend to the stone guest house (4445 m), and that is not a lodge but sort of haven named Dharmshala, also called Larke Phedi. Today is a brief walk so we will have plethora of time for acclimatization and restful in the daytime. 0vernight in the guest house meals: Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast involved.
Succeeding, a brief climb up, we hold out at a valley on the north side of the Larkya Glaciers from where we can have glorious sights of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. At the last moment, we walk over moraines of the glacier, slowly we ascent that turn into brutal steeper just in the end part of the pass. There are exceptional views from the top of the pass which serves, Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru and the giant Annapurna II. It is a longtime walking day than all along to Bimthang, but to hike above these low ranges with the evening haze appearing with Mt. Manaslu hovering nearby is a howling experience. From a ridgeline at Bimthang, the views of Mt. Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Himlung Himal and Cheo Himal are world-class. Further we move down and cross a high meadow (Sangure Kharka) touched by a bridge over Dudh Khola. We march through lush rhododendron forest and chase a trail through a narrow valley until we gain the crowning ploughed land of the valley at Karche at 2785 meters. The trial descends through fig trees and rhododendron forests to Dharapani. We’ll rise over a small ridge and adore the stone paved trail as it head through a charming village. Later we cross the bridge over Dudh Khola and ascend through a Chorten-shaped arch, pass a Mani wall and lead up to the village of Thonje. Afterward, we will pass through a police checkpoint before ongoing to Dharapani, Overnight in the guest house meals: Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast involved.
The long journey by vehicle from Dharapani to Besisahar and drive back to Kathmandu offers an opportunity to bask with the phenomenal scenery of both hill and mountain. The drive turns out the situation is very amazing, we will pass by the banks of the Marshyangdi and Trishuli River. And as well we will drive by some marvelous village hanging on the side of the hills. Upon arrival at Kathmandu we will be guided to hotel by our one representative from Skyline treks and expedition. : B&B involved.
