Nagarkot to Dhulikhel Short Trek is one of the most scenic spots only an hour drive from Kathmandu that lies at an elevation of 2,195 meters. The place is the most popular hill-station of Kathmandu, if not of Nepal! Why not? Nagarkot is only 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, so you can easily access the place in a short drive. Perfect for any outdoor camping or a family outing, you get to enjoy one of the most mesmerizing sunrise and sunsets. Therefore, we would highly recommend you to stay here overnight and wake up to the most beautiful sunrise above the snow-capped peaks of Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east. On a clear day, Nagarkot bestows you with the unobstructed view of Mighty Everest, and other peaks including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Langtang. After a great stay at Nagarkot, our trek marches towards another equally excellent hill-station of ‘Dhulikhel’. Dhulikhel is a great spot to enjoy an impressive view of the snowy central Himalayas making a backdrop to the gentle hills for short Dhulikhel hiking and also Dhulikhel to Namobuddha hike can be done. It is an old Newari trade station en route to the Tibetan plateau and today it is an ideal place for visitors to enjoy natural environment, the local lifestyle, old Newari culture and spectacular views.
