The place is the most popular hill-station of Kathmandu, if not of Nepal! Why not? Nagarkot is only 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, so you can easily access the place in a short drive. Perfect for any outdoor camping or a family outing, you get to enjoy one of the most mesmerizing sunrise and sunsets. Therefore, we would highly recommend you to stay here overnight and wake up to the most beautiful sunrise above the snow-capped peaks of Dhaulagiri in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east. On a clear day, Nagarkot bestows you with the unobstructed view of Mighty Everest, and other peaks including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Langtang.
Nagarkot has dense & luscious forests, offering a great view of the ancient Bhaktapur city from the hill –top. During the trek, you get plenty of chances to walk uphill & downhill the forests and see the picturesque Nagarkot villages. Day 01: Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Thimi, and than 45 minute drive to Nagarkot, Check in Hotel (B)
Day 03: Early in the morning panoramic sunrise view and have breakfast than 45 minutes drive back to Kathmandu and sight-seeing in Pashupati Nath, Bouddha Nath and Patan Durbar Square and check in Hotel. (B)
