Nepal Trekking Permit Fees
Nepal Trekking Permit fees is required to trek in any part of Nepal. Most of the area in Nepal are categorized as per below. If you want to trek two areas, you will need two permits or have to pay entry fee twice. Each Trekking Permit fees Nepal requires details for the route and region. Police checkpoints are set up in several areas so do not try to take risk, which might lead you to the punishment.

Here are the different types of trekking permits available in Nepal:

TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) Card: This is a basic permit that is required for all trekkers in Nepal. It costs per person USD $20 only.

Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP): This trekking permit Nepal is required for trekkers who plan to trek in the Annapurna region, including the Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Base Camp. It costs per person USD $30 only.

Everest Region Permit: This permit is required for trekkers who plan to trek in the Everest region, including the Everest Base Camp Trek. It costs per person USD $30 only.

Langtang National Park Permit: This permit is required for trekkers who plan to trek in the Langtang region. It costs per person USD $30 only.

Restricted Area Permit: This permit is required for trekkers who plan to trek in certain restricted areas of Nepal, such as Upper Mustang, Manaslu trek, Narphu Vallley, Upper Dolpo, and Kanchenjunga. The cost of the permit varies depending on the specific area and the duration of the trek.
It's important to note that you'll need to obtain these permits through our agency, and you'll need to provide a copy of your passport and trekking itinerary.
A trekking permit is essential for traveling to designated areas. However, permits are only granted to groups; individual trekkers must join a group to obtain one.
To obtain a group trekking permit, applicants must submit an application form along with relevant documents through a registered trekking agency, such as Skyline Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd, recognized by the government of Nepal.
The trekking fee can be paid in Nepalese currency. Indian citizens can pay in Nepalese currency equivalent to US Dollars.
What's needed to issue the trekking permit?
- Permit processing takes 3-4 hours, starting from 10 AM. The permit office is closed on Saturdays and major public holidays, during which permits cannot be issued. If you already have a Nepal visa from your country's Nepalese consulate, we can issue the trekking permit with the visa details.
- Submit a photo via email for online permit application.
- Present your original passport, valid for at least six months. It will be returned to you along with the permit.

Note: In the case of Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpa Region if the royalty paid for mountain expedition is less than the fee for the trekking permit then the difference amount should be paid.Trekking to the above restricted area can be undertaken through a registered trekking company only. For trekking through National park areas require an entry permits. The entrance fees are as follow for the following National parks and Conservation Areas:

Note:
* Entrance fee not required for children under 10 years of age.
* This entry permit is valid for one Conservation Area. Trekkers visiting both the Conservation Areas will require obtaining individual Entry Permits for each Conservation Area.
* Two passport size photographs are required while applying for each Entry
* Entry permit can be obtained from Skyline Treks and Expedition Office in Thamel, Kathmandu
Terms and Conditions :
* This Entry Permit is valid for single entry only and is non refundable, non-transferable. The permit holder can enter the designated places within the Conservation Area.
* Person entering the Conservation Area shall abide by the National Park and Wildlife Conservation Act 2029 B.S. (1973, Nepal) and the Regulations made under this Act.
* This Entry Permit must be carried during the entire trip and should be shown if concerned personnel of the Conservation Area want to check it.
* Entry permits to these area will be issued only from the entry permit counters. Entry Permits will not issued from any check posts along the routes of those areas. Therefore, all visitors are requested to obtain entry permit before entering those areas.
