Lobuche East Peak Climbing mountain comprises of two summits- Lobuche East and Lobuche West. Lobuche east is mainly known as a trekking peak unlike Lobuche West which is an Expedition Lobuche east trekking peak.
Lobuche east peak, the dark rocky triangle rises over the moraines of the Khumbu glacier to a beautiful skyline, forming the south ridge. East of Lobuche is attained by sinking a marked notch and climbing a steep snowy slope to the top. Lawrence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa were the first climbers to ascend Lobuche East peak summit on 25th April, 1984.
